PARENT-TEACHER INTERVIEWS AND FEEDBACK
The Director and supervisors are experienced professionals and are available to parents wishing to discuss their child’s progress and deal with questions or concerns. Please feel free to phone for an update, in-person appointment or phone conference.
Scheduled child progress reviews also happen during the year. Parents who wish to participate can sign up for a half hour review.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Participation in parent meetings, work parties and fundraising activities are part of the commitment parents make by signing the Parent Contract when enrolling their child.
Parent Meetings
At least one parent per family must attend two evening meetings per year that are held with staff representatives and the board of directors.
Work Parties
Lonsdale Creek Daycare holds two Saturday work parties per year: one in the spring and the other in the fall.
At least one parent per family must attend each Saturday work party. Parents are responsible for arranging an alternate (family member, friend, babysitter or maid service) to attend the work party in their place should they be unable to attend.
